This policy covers the Profiles website operated by Profiles S.r.l. It explains what we collect when you visit the site or write to us. Account and production data covered by a separate agreement are governed by that agreement, not by this page.

What we collect
- If you email us, or if you use the contact form, we receive what you put in that email: name, company, role, and the message. The form on this site does not store the message on the website. It opens your email application.
- Server logs may include IP address, browser and the page requested, as part of normal hosting. We do not run advertising cookies.
Why we use it
- To answer the email you sent
- To keep the site available and secure
- To see aggregate visits, only if you accept analytics
- To meet a legal duty
Legal basis (GDPR)
- Legitimate interest: answering a business enquiry you started, and keeping the site secure
- Consent: Google Analytics 4, and only after you accept the banner
- Legal obligation: where Italian or EU law requires us to keep a record
Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data. Email goes to our inbox. If analytics is accepted, Google receives the analytics events as an independent or processor arrangement under their terms. Hosting may process technical logs. We do not transfer data out of the EEA for our own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as the conversation, the contract, or a legal duty requires. We do not keep a separate copy of contact-form submissions, because the site does not receive them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold
- Correct it
- Delete it, where the law allows
- Restrict or object to processing
- Receive it in a portable format, where that right applies
- Withdraw analytics consent from the banner, or by clearing this site's storage

Cookies
The site works if you refuse analytics. When analytics is enabled, those cookies are set only after you press Accept. Refuse leaves them unset. The banner does not load anything else.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The version on this page is the one that applies.
