AI consulting

AI consulting: the work mapped, then built where you already work.

Profiles consults for companies in any sector. We assess the operation, write what should change, implement it with engineers working alongside your team, train the people who will run it, and support the work after go-live.

The work

Assessment, strategy, implementation, training, support.

  1. 01

    Assessment

We spend time with the people who do the work. We write the real steps: who owns each one, where a handoff breaks, where the same data is typed again, and where work waits.

    • The opening page uses the words of the people who do the work
    • The documented flow and the real one, side by side
    • Hours, delay, and risk, counted from their numbers
    • A short list of processes worth touching, and the ones we will leave
  2. 02

    Strategy

Stable rules become code. Inputs that change, and that need a tool, become an agent. A decision that needs judgment stays with a person. We do not put an agent on work that rarely happens.

    • One source of truth if you do not have one
    • Build on the ERP or CRM if it already does the job
    • Architecture: what connects to what, and what stays human
    • A roadmap with something visible in each phase
  3. 03

    Implementation

Forward-deployed engineering: the people who build work inside the operation and ship agents and automation on the systems you already have.

    • A test environment, then a run beside the person who does the job, then a small slice of production
    • Checks against the points a skilled person already verifies
    • The smallest piece that can run on its own comes first. It takes action only after that piece is reliable
    • A record of what the system decided
  4. 04

    Training

The team has to run the system without us in the room. They receive a written operating guide and use it on real work the following week.

    • The people who own the process, not a broadcast to the company
    • How to correct a bad output without a ticket for every line
    • Which rules they can change themselves
  5. 05

    Support

After go-live the system has to keep working when we are not there. Each support cycle has a result you can point to. We do not bill a month that produced nothing.

    • Edge cases from real volume, not from the demo
    • Rules updated by the operation, not only by an engineer
    • A decision to extend the scope, or to close the engagement

The assessment document

What you can hand to the person who decides.

The assessment is a written document. The first page can be read on its own. The numbers in it come from your operation, not from a template.

  1. 01

    Executive summary

Your situation, what we propose, and the expected outcome, on one page.

  2. 02

    Current state

The workflows drawn: steps, owners, broken handoffs, data typed twice, work waiting.

  3. 03

    Cost of leaving it

Hours, delay, risk. Counted from what we heard. If we do not have the number, we do not invent it.

  4. 04

    Proposed system

What connects to what. Before and after. The tools. Where data moves. What a person still decides.

  5. 05

    Roadmap

Phases, and a deliverable you can review in each one.

  6. 06

    Return

Only what we can count from your numbers, stated conservatively.

Formats

How an engagement can be scoped.

The quote comes after the assessment.

  • Assessment only

You leave with the document. A later implementation is a separate decision.

  • Assessment, then implementation

The same document, then we implement what it recommends.

  • One workflow

A single process, end to end. Intake, a handoff, an exception.

  • One department

One function: records, automations, agents, checks, training.

  • Operating layer

One source of record where you do not have one, then agents on top of it.

  • Support

After go-live, with a visible result in each cycle.

Sectors

Where these problems show up.

These are examples of operational work the method fits. They are not a list of clients.

  • Professional services

Intake, and the document chase that repeats every cycle.

  • Field operations

Status that lives in messages instead of in the job.

  • Logistics

A quote or a dispatch step spread across systems.

  • Manufacturing

Quality that is checked after the damage is done.

  • Sales operations

Handoffs, and the account that goes quiet before anyone notices.

  • Commerce

Customer support volume that the current team cannot absorb.

Limits

What we will not do

  • We will not put a model on a process nobody has mapped.
  • We will not replace your system of record just to install something of ours.
  • We will not quote a saving that did not come from your numbers.
  • We will not put an agent on work that rarely happens.
  • We will not treat a demo as training.

Frequently asked questions

What is Profiles S.r.l.?

Profiles S.r.l. is an AI consulting firm based in Florence, at Via Marconi 30. It works with companies in any sector: it assesses the operation, sets the strategy, implements inside the team, trains the people who will run the system and supports the work after go-live.

Can we do the assessment only?

Yes. The assessment produces a document with the real process, what it costs to leave it as it is and what to change. You receive the document and decide the next step; it can also be the first phase of an implementation.

Do you replace our ERP or CRM?

No, if they already do their job. We build on the systems you already use: agents where the input changes, automation where the rule is stable. A small release comes before the big one.

How much does AI consulting with Profiles cost?

We don't publish prices. The figure comes after the assessment and is tied to the cost of the problem.

Which sectors do you work in?

Any sector. Some examples of operational problems: professional services, construction and field operations, logistics, manufacturing, sales and software, commerce. These are examples, not a client list.

What does the team keep after training?

A written operating guide that people use on real work the following week, so the team can run the system without us in the room.

Who runs Profiles?

Marco Ritratti, CEO of Profiles S.r.l. He is the former COO of LuisaViaRoma, where he worked for 12 years. The consulting method comes from that operating experience.

How are Profiles and AIORA Studio related?

AIORA Studio is a product of Profiles S.r.l. From one product photo it creates on-model images, editorial shots, video and copy in CMS-ready files, with no photo shoot.
